To combat climate change and reduce energy’s environmental impact, Inditex promotes the efficient use of energy along the entire value chain by formulating a global energy strategy. Energy consumption per square meter has been reduced year by year through the development of an energy management system, the upgrading of eco-efficient stores, and the promotion of clean energy. In China, Inditex reached its goal of 100% eco-efficient stores in 2018, with two more stores reaching the LEED certification gold level.
