AI traces the missing ones – let technology guide you home

To tracking the missing ones is one of the most complex social challenges and the traditional methods have significant limitations. In late 2016, Baidu initiated the “Baidu AI Xunren”program. By utilizing facial recognition technology and connecting to authoritative databases such as the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Baobeihuijia and Chinafxj, this initiative initiative helps missing individuals find their way back home and particularly help many lost children reunite with their families after 20 or 30 years of trafficking. As of September 20, 2020, the“Baidu AI Xunren”platform had successfully helped 11,756 individuals reunite with their families.
