The year 2026 marks a landmark "Triple COP" year for global ecological governance, with conferences of the three major environmental conventions taking place in close succession — a critical window for the world to build consensus on green development. All solutions from companies participating in GoldenKey activities will have the opportunity to be featured on these international platforms.

Third Global Development Initiative (GDI)-focused Seminar
May 28, 2026 | Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland
Hosted by the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva, the GDI-focused seminar is a major international multilateral meeting focused on global development cooperation. This year's theme is "Promoting Services Trade for Global Development Cooperation," bringing together over one hundred representatives from permanent missions, international organizations, businesses, and think tanks.
China Sustainability Tribune was invited to attend and has officially release Implementing the GDI, Advancing the SDGs: Inspiring Solutions from Chinese Enterprises on the event. The casebook covers poverty alleviation, food security, health, green development, digital economy, and connectivity — showcasing how Chinese enterprises implement the Global Development Initiative and contribute to the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development.

UNCCD COP17 (UN Convention to Combat Desertification)
August 17–28, 2026 | Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Themed "Restoring Land, Restoring Hope," and coinciding with the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, the conference will focus on land restoration, drought resilience, and green finance. Delegates from 197 parties will gather to advance global action centered on healthy land.
UNCCD has officially opened an observer pathway for private enterprises. Accredited corporate observers may send representatives to attend the COP, organize side events and exhibitions, and showcase their practical experience in ecological restoration, green finance, and agricultural technology under the UN framework.
GoldenKey will curate case studies in desertification control, sustainable agriculture, and drought resilience, produce thematic publications for on-site release, and assist interested companies with side event applications, workshop planning, and observer registration.

CBD COP17 (Convention on Biological Diversity)
October 19–30, 2026 | Yerevan, Armenia
COP17 will be held concurrently with the Cartagena Protocol MOP-12 and the Nagoya Protocol MOP-6. A core agenda item is the mid-term assessment of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), completing the first global stocktake of the GBF.
GoldenKey will systematically curate corporate solutions in biodiversity conservation, nature-based solutions (NbS), and ecological restoration, producing a case collection for on-site release. We will also assist companies with side event applications and thematic workshop planning — ensuring that Chinese corporate biodiversity practices are seen by the world.

UNFCCC COP31 (UN Climate Change Conference)
November 9–20, 2026 | Antalya, Türkiye
COP31 will be hosted by Türkiye in Antalya, bringing together world leaders, scientists, civil society, and the private sector to shape the future of climate action. The conference is organized around ten interconnected priority themes, including oceans, zero waste, youth, food security, and resilient health systems.
GoldenKey will curate outstanding corporate practices in climate action, low-carbon transition, renewable energy, and carbon inclusion — producing thematic case studies for on-site release — and assist companies with side event applications and workshop planning at the frontier of international climate governance.
